The Rescue Me! Retreat is four-day, three-night getaway for animal caregivers, workers, volunteers, and activists that focuses on managing compassion fatigue and burnout. Because so many of us struggle with self-care and taking time out for ourselves, this retreat is really going to be about learning to recharge your battery so that you can go back feeling rejuvenated and reconnected to your work.
During the retreat, you’ll be surrounded by a small group of people that share your passion for helping animals. You’ll be given a safe space to talk about the some of the struggles that are inherent in animal welfare work, plus the opportunity to slow down, relax, and have fun. You spend so much time taking care of others, you deserve this!
